The crew that shows up at your door in Santa Clarita is the reason our work holds up through every Santa Ana wind season and every triple-digit August afternoon. We’re a small, local team led by Keith Yamada, and we’ve spent years pulling old windows out of Valencia tract homes, Canyon Country hillside properties, and Newhall bungalows. What unites us is simple: we treat every opening we cut like it’s in our own house. No shortcuts, no mystery invoices, no crew you wouldn’t invite back.

Our People
Keith Yamada, Owner
Keith Yamada has been running Lightwell Windows Santa Clarita since the Cedarwell network brought him on board in 2010, and he still walks the first estimate on most jobs himself. He came up through the trade the long way, learning how to read framing before he ever sold a window, and he’ll tell you the most important tool on the truck is a straight answer. There’s a story he likes to share about an early install where a homeowner in Saugus asked why the old window was fogged between the panes, and Keith realized the seal had failed because the original installer had shimmed the frame wrong. He spent that weekend redoing the opening on his own time, and it taught him that the homeowner doesn’t care whose fault it is. They care that it’s fixed. That’s the standard he’s held every job to since. When he’s not on a ladder, you’ll find him at the local little league fields in the spring, coaching his son’s team.
Mike R., Lead Technician
Mike is the guy who figures out why a window binds in the corner or why a door slab sags two years after install. He’s been cutting openings in Santa Clarita homes for over a decade, and he’s certified on PGT and CGI impact product lines, which matters when we’re working on properties up in the wind-prone passes near Agua Dulce. Mike’s specialty is old stucco: matching the exterior trim profile so a replacement window looks like it was always there, not like someone patched a hole. He keeps a small notebook in his tool bag with measurements from jobs he did years ago, and he still answers questions from homeowners who call about a window he installed in 2016. Off the clock, he restores old wood-frame sash windows for his own place, because he just can’t leave them alone.
Luis C., Senior Installer
Luis runs the interior side of every install, which means he’s the one laying the drop cloths, taping off the work area, and making sure the shoe covers are on before a single tool comes through the door. He’s been with Keith for most of his career, and he’s the one who takes the photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves, every single time. Luis is also our resident caulking and sealing specialist, trained on the pet-safe sealant lines we use wherever the manufacturer gives us a choice. He swears by a slow bead and a clean finger, and he’ll tell you that a rushed seal is a future homeowner complaint. When he’s not on a job, he’s usually smoking brisket on the weekends and arguing with his brothers about the best oak blend.
Dana P., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call Lightwell Windows Santa Clarita at (661) 430-5327. She’s the one who schedules estimates, walks homeowners through what to expect on install day, and makes sure the written price is in your hand before any work starts. She’s also the one who helps coordinate around nap times, school drop-offs, and dogs who are convinced the doorbell is a threat. Dana keeps a running list of every job in Santa Clarita with a note about the house, the homeowner’s preferences, and anything the crew needs to know before they knock. She’s the reason nothing falls through the cracks between the estimate and the final walkthrough, and she answers the phone like a person, not a script.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this crew works under the same two promises, and we don’t treat either one as optional. The Cedarwell Care Promise has been our operating rule since 2010: shoe covers and drop cloths on every visit, a photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves, a written price before any work starts, and pet-safe products wherever there’s a choice. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise means if something isn’t right after the install, we come back and make it right, no debate, no countdown. The C.A.R.E. values aren’t a poster in the office. Clean up like it’s our own home. Ask before we move or touch anything. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours. Explain the price before the work. A light well is what brings daylight deep into a building, and that’s what a well-installed window should do for your home. That’s the job, every time.
